TIDEN, funded by the SFI CONNECT Centre, aims to showcase the capabilities of the Open Ireland Testbed by implementing a prototype of a distributed trust mechanism on the platform. This prototype includes an interoperability model for trusted collaboration between unknown and untrusted actors in Open-RAN marketplaces. It achieves this by creating an rApp/xApp for trustworthiness analysis of existing rApps/xApps in the RAN Intelligent Controllers (RICs). Additionally, TIDEN will propose a use case demonstrator for the 6G Trans-Continental Edge Learning (6G-XCEL) project and contribute to ORAN Alliance working groups for standardisations. The objectives of TIDEN are to implement and integrate TIDEN into the Open Ireland Testbed to emulate various Open-RAN scenarios and assess its performance, and integrate TIDEN into an rApp/xApp, incorporating necessary modifications for deployment within the 6G-XCEL framework to assess the trustworthiness of existing rApps/xApps.
