MOBILISE tackles two connected gaps: the structural exclusion of mobile dwelling residents from existing energy upgrade funding and schemes, and the absence of any just transition pathway for Traveller families and others living in mobile accommodation. Working across three Irish universities and with Traveller representative organisations and local authorities, the project produces a practical roadmap and suite of tools for energy efficiency in mobile homes, a first-of-its-kind energy ratings scheme for mobile dwellings, and a demonstrable model for community education and knowledge transfer.
