Project Summary

T-COR is an SFI CONNECT funded project that focuses on designing an interoperability model for trusted collaboration between unknown and untrusted actors in Open-RAN marketplaces. The project also focuses on creating a resource orchestration solution that enables dynamic and reliable load balancing through the selection of diverse vendor resources to match requirements that have to be met in order to enable specific services.   The objectives of T-COR are to:
  • Define what trust concerns exist and what reputation is in the context of Open-RAN across the 5G innovation ecosystem,
  • Define a set of trust metrics and a trust management model to assess the trustworthiness of prospective actors to support decentralised, disaggregated and fully virtualised Open-RAN networks, and
  • Enable trusted resource orchestration in Open-RAN.
