Personal Summary
I am a researcher at Nimbus, Munster Technological University, with a background in physical chemistry and over 30 years of experience in software research and development. I graduated from the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague, where I also earned a Candidate of Sciences degree (PhD equivalent) in Physical Chemistry. I spent nine years at the university as a specialist in statistical thermodynamics, and in 1992 worked at the University of Guelph in Canada.
Since the early 1990s, I have been deeply involved in the development of advanced software systems — from highly specialized complex algorithms to database, web, mobile, and blockchain technologies. At Nimbus, I focus on innovative solutions that bridge modern information technologies with real-world impact. Despite a spinal injury in 1999 that left me wheelchair-bound, I continue to pursue research with passion and dedication. Outside of work, I enjoy training dogs and engaging in animal-assisted therapy.
